Arson

As part of my final project for a Shortform Production course in college, I was tasked with creating a visual for a poem written and recorded by a fellow Syracuse student. The poem details the internal struggle of the author in the aftermath of an abusive relationship, so I wanted to make sure that theme was properly illustrated. For this piece, we departed from conventional narrative structure with the visuals, opting to focus on the tension and emotions conveyed in the poem. Although this piece carried a much different tone and editing style from my usual work, it was a very interesting format to experiment with, and I really enjoyed the process of making this piece from the shoot to the edit.
